From 6th April 2022, the maximum statutory weekly pay used for redundancy calculations and basic awards is jumping considerably from £544 to £571.

This Order increases, from 6th April 2022, the limits applying to certain awards of employment tribunals, and other sums payable under employment legislation, as specified in the Schedule to this Order.

🚨 EMPLOYERS BEWARE- The qualification date for Furlough has changed. Employees employed up to and including 19th March (previously 28th February) are now eligible for Furlough. Terminated employees may have to be rehired and placed on Furlough to avoid unfair dismissal/discrimination claims.
