Duty to defend vs. duty to indemnify: they're often confused, but they operate on different tests and different timelines, and conflating them can lead to very different outcomes.

On October 7, tune in to the OBA Insurance Law Program: "Duty to Defend vs. Duty to Indemnify: Navigating the Divide in Ontario Insurance Law." Our own Jessica C. Grant chairs, and Fatema Lotia joins as a speaker.

Today, McCague Borlack LLP joins Canadians across the country in observing National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

To mark the day, our team is participating in a seminar hosted by the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation. The firm will also be donating to the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund, which works to support reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples through awareness, education, and action.
