I am seeing a lot of talk about the importance of clarity in contracts - which I wholeheartedly support. What I haven't seen much talk about is clarity in pleadings and why it matters. I am a huge proponent of keeping pleadings as simple and clear as possible. In my experience, clear and precise pleadings streamline litigation and encourage early resolution.
