,👍 HIGH COURT DIVISION VIVA GUIDELINES
(As per Civil Rules and Orders (C.R.O) 1935, Part I and Criminal Rules and Orders (Cr.R.O) 2009, Part I)
1. Personal Cleanliness:
Ensure neat and clean hair, face, nails, and maintain a fresh smell.
2. Dress Code:
Black trousers, white shirt, black tie, black coat, simple ornaments (if any), and a leather-strap wristwatch.
3. Manners:
o Seek permission before entering: “May I come in, Sir?”
o Greet respectfully (e.g., Salam or Good Morning).
o Sit patiently with a slight smile on your face.
o Maintain eye contact.
o Avoid making noise with your hands, feet, or while walking.
4. Stay Calm:
Remember, if you cannot answer a question, you will not fail—so don’t worry.
5. Polite Clarification:
Never say “Please repeat.” Instead, say:
o “I beg your pardon, Sir.”
o “May I get the question again, Sir?”
6. If You Don’t Know the Answer:
Politely say: “I’m sorry, Sir. I cannot recall the answer at the moment.”
7. If You Know the Answer:
Respond calmly, clearly, and respectfully.
8. Engage Respectfully:
Make eye contact with all board members; don’t focus on just one.
9. Be Genuine:
Your simplicity reflects your character—avoid acting over-smart or insincere.
10. Addressing Your Senior:
“Learned Senior Advocate Mohammed Lokman Hussain.”
11. Addressing a Bench:
Never say “Court No. 14.”
Say: “The Civil Division Bench comprising Mr. Justice [X] and Mr. Justice [Y].”
12. Leaving the Viva Board:
a. Offer greetings/salam politely.
b. Do not turn around abruptly; take two steps back, then turn.
c. Acknowledge all members respectfully.
d. Never look at the result sheet.
13. Chief Justice:
“His Lordship Mr. Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed.”
14. Addressing a Judge:
Use “My Lord” or “Your Lordship.”
15. Degree Abbreviations:
o LL.B. – Legum Baccalaureus (Bachelor of Laws)
o LL.M. – Legum Magister (Master of Laws)
16. Final Note:
If you can handle the first five minutes perfectly, you can set a strong impression. Confidence, calmness, and courtesy are key.

,👍 উচ্চ আদালতের (HCD) ভাইভা প্রার্থীদের জন্য নির্দেশিকা (সিভিল রুলস অ্যান্ড অর্ডারস (C.R.O) 1935, পার্ট I এবং ক্রিমিনাল রুলস অ্যান্ড অর্ডারস (Cr.R.O) 2009, পার্ট I অনুযায়ী)
১. ব্যক্তিগত পরিচ্ছন্নতা: চুল, মুখ, নখ পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন রাখুন এবং দেহে সতেজতা বজায় রাখুন।
২. পোশাকের ধরন: কালো প্যান্ট, সাদা শার্ট, কালো টাই, কালো কোট, সরল অলংকার (যদি থাকে), এবং চামড়ার স্ট্র্যাপযুক্ত ঘড়ি পরিধান করুন।
৩. আচরণবিধি: প্রবেশের আগে অনুমতি নিন: “May I come in, Sir?”
সম্মানজনকভাবে অভিবাদন দিন (যেমন: সালাম বা “Good Morning”)
মুখে হালকা হাসি রেখে ধৈর্যের সঙ্গে বসুন।
চোখে চোখ রেখে কথা বলুন।
হাত-পা নেড়ে বা হাঁটার সময় কোনো ধরনের শব্দ করবেন না।
৪. মন শান্ত রাখুন: মনে রাখবেন, আপনি যদি কোনো প্রশ্নের উত্তর না-ও পারেন, তবুও আপনি ফেল করবেন না। তাই দুশ্চিন্তা করবেন না।
৫. ভদ্রতার সঙ্গে অনুরোধ: “Please repeat” বলবেন না। পরিবর্তে বলুন:
“I beg your pardon, Sir.”
“May I get the question again, Sir?”
৬. যদি উত্তর না জানেন: ভদ্রভাবে বলুন: “I’m sorry, Sir. I cannot recall the answer at the moment.”
৭. যদি উত্তর জানেন: শান্তভাবে, স্পষ্টভাবে এবং সম্মানজনকভাবে উত্তর দিন।
৮. সম্মানজনকভাবে যুক্ত থাকুন: সকল বোর্ড সদস্যের দিকে চোখ রেখে কথা বলুন; কেবল একজনের দিকে তাকিয়ে থাকবেন না।
৯. সরল থাকুন: আপনার সরলতা আপনার ব্যক্তিত্বের সৌন্দর্য—চাতুর্যপূর্ণ বা মেকি আচরণ থেকে বিরত থাকুন।
১০. আপনার সিনিয়রকে সম্বোধন: “Learned Senior Advocate Mohammed Lokman Hussain”
১১. বেঞ্চকে সম্বোধন: “Court No. 14” বলবেন না।
বলুন: “The Civil Division Bench comprising Mr. Justice [X] and Mr. Justice [Y].”
১২. ভাইভা বোর্ড ত্যাগ করার নিয়ম:
a. সম্মানজনকভাবে সালাম বা অভিবাদন দিন।
b. হঠাৎ পেছন ফিরে যাবেন না; দুই কদম পিছিয়ে যান,. . তারপর ঘুরুন।
c. সকলকে সম্মানসূচকভাবে এক নজর দেখে নিন।
d. ফলাফলের কাগজের দিকে তাকাবেন না।
১৩. প্রধান বিচারপতিকে সম্বোধন: “His Lordship Mr. Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed”
১৪. বিচারপতিকে সম্বোধন: “My Lord” অথবা “Your Lordship” ব্যবহার করুন।
১৫. আইনি ডিগ্রির সংক্ষিপ্ত রূপ:

১৬. চূড়ান্ত পরামর্শ: ভাইভার প্রথম ৫ মিনিট যদি আপনি আত্মবিশ্বাস, ধৈর্য, ও ভদ্রতার সঙ্গে মোকাবিলা করতে পারেন, তাহলে আপনি একটি দৃঢ় এবং ইতিবাচক ছাপ ফেলতে পারবেন।
