The Government has issued a Gazette Notification dated 30 December 2025, amending the Bangladesh Civil Service Recruitment Rules, 1981 under the authority of the Government Service Act, 2018.

๐—ž๐—ฒ๐˜† ๐—›๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐—น๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜๐˜€ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—”๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜

1. 357 Assistant Surgeons encadred in BCS (Health) on or before 12 March 2023 have been granted special regulatory relaxation.

2. Such officers are exempted from foundational training and departmental examinations for the purpose of confirmation.

3. The usual two-year probation period requirement has been waived for this specific group.

4. After confirmation, they are also exempted from certain pre-promotion conditions relating to posts with an initial pay scale of Tk. 35,500โ€“67,010 (or equivalent).
