Meet Tim Davis. Tim completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in August 2023. Tim joined Butler McIntyre & Butler in October 2025 after practising at another Hobart firm. Tim is a part of the Property and Commercial Transactions team, the Estate Planning team, and assists with the administration of estates. Outside of work, Tim enjoys going to the movies, playing golf, watching the NFL and AFL, and spending time with friends, family, and his dog, Kenny.

Meet Phillip Bellchambers. Phillip is a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, assisting clients with disputes across a broad range of areas. He is committed to working closely with clients and ensuring they receive timely and effective advice. Phillip is also a member of the Criminal Law team regularly appearing in the Supreme Court, and Magistrates Court.
In his spare time Phillip enjoys playing football for the Lauderdale Football Club and spending time with his family and friends.

The annual opening dinner provides an opportunity for members of the legal community to come together, unwind, and celebrate with colleagues and friends, while looking ahead to a productive and successful year.

The Estia Street Festival was held over the weekend, and it was fantastic to see such an incredible turnout. Butler McIntyre & Butler was proud to sponsor this vibrant community event, which truly showcased the spirit, culture and unity of Tasmania’s Greek community. It was especially rewarding to give back to a community that has always shown such strong support for BMB. Partner Alex and his wife Leah also volunteered at the fish and chips stand, which was extremely busy and great fun throughout the day. We look forward to continuing our support of Estia in the years ahead and to standing alongside our Greek clients and community.
