For the last two weeks, we have had the pleasure of hosting Chloe Edwards and Caedence Kuepper in our Summer Clerkship program. They have spent their time experiencing life in a large commercial law firm where they rotated through each practice group gaining insight into the areas of law we practice at Page Seager. They gained hands-on experience, attended information sessions and observed experienced lawyers in their day-to-day practice. Our Summer Clerkship Program is now in its 14th year, and as always, we look forward to seeing Chloe and Caedence develop as young lawyers in the future.

We’re pleased to announce that the Staff Committee which is funded by regular contributions from members of our social club, has decided to donate $250 each to charities chosen by our employees. To make an even greater impact, Page Seager will match these staff contributions, donating an additional $250 to each charity.

Yesterday we welcomed Simon, Shi Wei, Minna and Harry to Page Seager as participants in our Summer Clerkship Program. Over the next two weeks they will experience life in a large commercial law firm where they will rotate through each practice group, gaining insight into the areas of law we practice at Page Seager. During the Clerkship they will participate in tasks to gain hands-on experience, attend information sessions and observe experienced lawyers in day-to-day practice. Now in its 14th year, we are excited to host these promising University law students in our Summer Clerkship Program and look forward to seeing them develop as young lawyers in the future.

Page Seager was proud to sponsor the Tasmania University Law Society - TULS Women in Law Breakfast this morning which was a standout event once again wonderfully supported by the legal profession and students. This year, the event was honoured by the presence of Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, Governor of Tasmania, as the esteemed guest speaker. Our very own Alexandra Darcey, Principal Lawyer, also had the privilege of addressing the dignitaries, members, and aspiring legal professionals in attendance.
