Congratulations to JLAPC board member Stacey Mullins for receiving the Suzanne and John Foley Serving Justice Award from the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County at its annual signature gala.

Stacey has been an amazing lawyer leader for many years, and this award recognizes her pro bono work and volunteerism within the legal field which has made a lasting impact on the lives of Palm Beach County’s most vulnerable residents.

Our Third Annual Unity Seder brought together ten voluntary bar associations and more than 150 lawyers and judges who joined in tradition, song, strength and community. Our hearts are with the victims of the mass shooting at a Hannukah event at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. Thousands gathered to celebrate our beautiful holiday when two gunmen attacked the crowd leaving at least 11 dead, and 29 wounded, including a rabbi, a Holocaust survivor and young children.
May the lights of Hannukah triumph over hatred, darkness and silence and bring peace and strength to our broken world.
