A special home in the right location can still attract immediate attention and even receive over their asking notice.
Buyers want move in ready and are much less willing to overlook deferred maintenance as services are harder to find.

She was able to help us navigate several serious problems with the property and explained all the necessary steps of setting up an offer, counter offer, etc while dealing with absentee brokers, nasty surveyors, property lawyers, potential neighbors and more with grace and grit. I love this woman - she gets things done with elegance and determination and really cares that you get the home you want. Mortgage rates have risen ​amid the Middle East conflict, which raised oil prices, and are likely to limit any rebound in home sales.

Higher mortgage rates are also discouraging some homeowners from selling, worsening ‌the housing shortage.

Buyers don’t like 7% rates and would be sellers with low mortgages won’t give them up and stay put instead.
