A California businesswoman accused of running a multi-million dollar Ponzi scheme has changed her plea to guilty.

On behalf of dozens of investors, we sued Maria Dickerson, a/k/a Dulce Pino, for securities fraud involving millions of dollars. The government then investigated, and our case got stayed. But now she has pled GUILTY. Though she faces up to 20 years imprisonment, our civil case will now continue. We hope to seek justice for our clients.

Maria Dickerson, also known as “Dulce Pino,” “Maria Dulce Pino Dickerson,” and “Dulce Brubaker,” 49, of Sacramento, pleaded guilty today to one count of wire fraud and one count of securities fraud.
