Should Californians convicted of a DUI be allowed to immediately drive?
A new law that went into effect this week allows people convicted of a DUI to keep driving if they have an alcohol interlock device installed in their car-a machine that drivers blow into and doesn't allow the car to start if it detects alcohol.
Some say it will cut down on drunk driving accidents while others claim it doesn't go far enough to stop drunks from getting behind the wheel.
What do you think?
A new law in California that lets drivers with DUI offenses drive with ignition interlock devices is getting mixed reviews even before it goes into effect.
