Can our community help us welcome Attorney Aiden Gamble to Tess House Law?

Because this is what alignment looks like.

Who’s betting on you in your life?

2025 is a wrap.
When I put my hearings and trials on paper, all I can say is thank You, God, for choosing me.

This year has truly been one for the books. When I look at these numbers, what I really see is TEAM.

I see my dedicated paralegal the backbone that keeps me on track. One in a million. I could not have done this without you.

I see who stepped in without hesitation, no questions asked, and supported every need so we could continue serving our clients at the highest level.

I see Liz, our executive assistant, who makes the office feel like home welcoming our clients, keeping everything running smoothly, and holding the heartbeat of our daily operations.

I see our operations manager my sister whose vision and leadership have created meaningful, lasting change. From refining our culture at THL to implementing impactful systems, you have truly shifted the atmosphere of this firm.

And lastly, & —THE HOUSE. With God’s help, you built the HOUSE 11 years and counting and entrusted me to ride shotgun on this incredible journey. Thank you for the encouragement, the listening ear, and the unwavering faith in both me and the clients we serve.

Someone in a Texas based social media group asked, “How much does divorce cost? Any personal experiences?” 👀

I gave myself the challenge to answer it without using the phrase “it depends.” How did I do?

Think of divorce costs like going to H-E-B.

🛒 The Budget Trip: Uncontested Divorce
If you and your spouse agree on everything — kids, property, debt, pets, who gets the air fryer — you can walk in with your own list. That’s what I call the kitchen table approach. You’ve already talked things out, and now you just need a lawyer to file and make sure it’s done right.
Cost: Usually a flat fee. Like buying a pre-made rotisserie chicken. Quick, clean, and no mess.

🛒 The Full Cart With Coupons Flying: Contested Divorce
Start fighting over who gets the house, the kids, or grandma’s couch? Now you’re in litigation. Think multiple court hearings, mediation, custody evaluations, therapy, and a process called discovery (basically the legal version of “pull up the receipts”).
Cost: Can get real expensive, real fast. Like walking into H-E-B for eggs and coming out $800 later wondering what just happened.

👶🏽 Got Kids?
There might be a separate lawyer appointed just for them, called an amicus or ad litem. More professionals involved means more cost.

Bottom line:
✔️ Agreement means lower cost
⚔️ Fighting means the price climbs quickly
