There are 85 things to do this week in St. Augustine. It’s the First Friday of the month, which means art walks, garden walks, and a free concert downtown. There’s also a new exhibit launching at the Lightner Museum, with a free open house. The exhibit features old photographs of St. Augustine before the city was transformed by Henry Flagler, which sounds so interesting.Fall is also bringing plenty of opportunities for pumpkin patches and corn mazes. I have a full list of them, but our favorite, Sykes Family Farm, opens this week. Another type of event we’ll see more of as the weather cools is racing season. The Pink Up the Pace race is happening this weekend, so don’t be surprised if you pass runners and walkers wearing loads of pink around town. And finally, the Taste of Latino Festival is happening at Francis Field. Empanadas and paellas on Sunday sound pretty terrific to me.
