🚨 TRIBAL ALERT 🚨
The National Archives and Records Administration plans to close the National Archives at San Bruno, and it would negatively impact Tribal communities. This facility holds key records documenting California Indian history: BIA records, ancestry documents, census rolls, land records, termination files, litigation files, and more. Closing it means lost access, potentially lost records, and costly out-of-state travel for Tribal teams just to research their own history.
