Today was a powerful reminder of that.

Between court sessions yesterday, I made time for the Grip N Grin luncheon at Mama Hamil’s — and I’m so glad I did. It’s always a treat to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new people, and to hear the informational speeches that never fail to engage and inspire. There is truly never a dull moment at this event!

As County Prosecutor, staying connected to the community I serve matters as much as the work I do in the courtroom.

Today, we remember that freedom has never been free.

As your County Prosecutor, I see every day what it means to uphold law, order, and justice in our communities. Memorial Day is a reminder that countless men and women made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the very freedoms and institutions we often take for granted.

Their courage gave us the privilege to live, work, speak freely, and serve others.

This Memorial Day, we honor the fallen, support the families they left behind, and remember that service to something greater than yourself is one of the highest callings. 🇺🇸

May we never forget those who paid the price for our freedom.

I’ve spent much of this month busy in Justice Court and County Court, but I was still able to make time to attend a few fantastic Madison County events over the past several weeks. It’s always great to connect with friends, colleagues, and members of our community outside the courtroom. We truly have an amazing community here in Madison County!
