Last week’s Captains’ Table wrapped up the spring season with Faith Alejandro and Lindsay Bunting Eubanks delivering an overview of legislative updates for nonprofit leaders. The session highlighted just how active and consequential this year has been for Virginia workplace relations. While many proposals were vetoed or set aside, they are widely expected to return in 2027. Employers were encouraged to take proactive steps, including reviewing handbooks, retraining managers, and updating payroll and leave systems.

Carol joined Sands Anderson in 2025 as part of our merger with Frieden, Seery, Nuckols, and Hahn. She represents real estate clients across the full project lifecycle, from acquisition through development and sales. Known for sound business judgment and strong client service, Carol brings a practical, end-to-end approach to every matter.

Outside the office, she’s a certified yoga instructor who enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with family.

Last night, a few of our attorneys had the opportunity to support the Hampton Roads Community Action Program (HRCAP) at their annual Community Builders Awards. HRCAP’s signature fundraiser recognizes individuals and businesses in Hampton Roads working to improve the community through education, volunteerism, business, and outreach. The event supports more than 20 programs that reach over 10,000 students, parents, and clients across Hampton Roads.
