Since joining the firm in 2001, Dawn has been a dedicated member of our Government Group, working on delinquent real estate tax collections and sales. Sun, sand, and a whole lot of employment law.

Several members of our Labor & Employment Team took the stage at the 56th Annual VBA Labor and Employment Conference in Virginia Beach last week.

Faith Alejandro moderated a DEI panel featuring Commissioner Kalpana Kotagal and Professor Kevin Woodson, then returned to the stage for a presentation about legislative updates. Robyn Hansen spoke on employment benefits, while Jamie Heisler Ibrahim and Whitney Nelson-Crawford led a discussion on Title IX.

It was a great few days of learning, collaboration, and thought leadership. We're already looking forward to next year's conference.
