🏡 Seattle-area market update: the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate is 7.28% — the biggest one-week jump in over four years and the highest since November 2023, per Freddie Mac.

What I'm watching for local buyers:
• Seattle inventory is surging — active listings up 28.5% year-over-year
• 1 in 5 sellers cut their price last month
• Fewer buyers competing — purchase demand down 14% from last year
