Years ago, when I was brand new, an established agent made a remark about not offering treats at her open houses. Her mindset was, “I’m not here to feed you, I’m here to sell a house.” That stuck with me for a long time, so I didn’t do anything extra.

But eventually, I tried it and the response has been amazing. People love walking in and grabbing a fresh cup of coffee with good creamers, and it creates an easy conversation starter instead of the awkward “here’s a flyer…” moment.

Now I keep the coffee refreshed, put out treats, and share information about both the community and myself. It’s value and relationship-building all in one.

I’ve also added balloons 🎈 which honestly are such a pain, but they’re so cute. I even have custom ones along with my office balloons, and I love the look.

Now if only people would actually come into my open house today on this sunny, beautiful weekend… 😆

Just wanted to share something fun I’ve been working on in the Cascade neighborhood.

I’m helping organize a neighborhood-wide garage sale, and it’s shaping up to be a great community event with multiple homes participating!

A little late, but last month we had the best time at the Gala✨

I’m still so proud of my “Taste of Renton” basket, but more than anything, just incredibly grateful for the local businesses who showed up and donated to make it happen.

It’s that time of year again... Best of Renton is ready for your vote!

You can vote every day, and while I obviously appreciate you showing me some love, they do keep an eye out to make sure votes are coming from people who are actually engaged in our local community so don’t forget to support some of your other favorite local businesses too.

I’ll be sharing some of my personal favorites over the next few weeks… but for now, do me a solid and go cast those votes. 😊

Also, I have to say, it’s pretty awesome that almost everyone in my category (Services / Real Estate Agent) are people I genuinely know and consider friends. Truly great company to be in, and I’m grateful to be alongside them.

The current plan is to rent out the existing structure while working on permits to build six cottage-style townhomes. Love seeing clients think long-term and make moves like this.
