Another victory, another family reunited, and another reminder of why we refuse to give up.

After being detained by ICE and separated from her loved ones, Tatiana has finally been released following a successful federal habeas petition! 🙌

These cases are never easy. The long hours, sleepless nights, endless filings, and emotional toll are very real. But moments like this make it all worth it.

Watching someone walk out of detention and return to their family is a feeling that never gets old.

Freedom should never have to be fought for this hard. But when it is, we fight. And today, we celebrate another WIN! 💪

⚖️ ANOTHER HABEAS VICTORY! SHE’S HOME! 🏡❤️

When the Immigration Judge denied our client’s bond, finding her to be a flight risk, we refused to accept that decision.

We took the fight to federal court. And the federal judge did not mince words:

🔥 “No reasonable fact-finder could have considered this record and found Petitioner to be a flight risk.”

The Court went even further, finding that the Immigration Judge abused his discretion in denying bond and that our client’s continued detention was unlawful.

The federal court ordered her release.

And now, after everything she has endured, Amina is finally HOME! ❤️

This is why we fight. This is why we don’t give up when the system gets it wrong.

First, Tatiana’s son was detained. One month later, ICE took Tatiana and her daughter too.
Tatiana and her daughter are both married to U.S. citizens. They followed the legal process and trusted that their pending applications would be fairly decided.
Now, an entire family is separated from the people who love them—waiting for a process that may never be allowed to finish.
They trusted the process. The process trapped them. 💔

ALEX AND JOSÉ ARE HOME. ❤️
This administration detained a father and son, tore them away from their family, and attempted to transfer them out of state in the middle of the night—away from their attorneys and everyone fighting for them.
We fought back. We filed two emergency federal lawsuits. We stopped the transfers. And we won both bond hearings.
Today, Alex and José are finally home with their family.
But freedom should never have required emergency litigation, sleepless nights, public pressure, and a family forced to fight the full power of the federal government.
To this administration: immigrants are not numbers. They are fathers, sons, husbands, and human beings. You may have the power to detain people and terrorize their families—but we have the law, the truth, and the courage to fight back.

Some of you may remember Claudio and the heartbreaking pleas from his family to bring him back. Claudio is a father, a husband, and a grandfather. He has lived in this country for nearly 30 years and did not even have so much as a traffic ticket.
ICE took him, and the experience broke him in many ways, but it did not break his spirit.
Today, Claudio has been reunited with his family.
In moments like this, we are reminded why we fight. We fight for families. We fight for dignity. We fight because no human being should be treated as disposable.
Nothing is impossible.
Love always wins.

My client, Alex De La Torre Haro, was featured on KING 5 today, and I had the opportunity to speak about his case and what is happening to his family.
Alex was brought to the United States when he was two years old. He grew up here, built his life here, married a U.S. citizen, and has been actively pursuing lawful permanent residence through his wife.
Yet Alex is now sitting in ICE detention.
The people being swept into immigration detention are not always the dangerous criminals the public was told would be the priority. They are also people like Alex—husbands, sons, and members of our communities who are actively trying to navigate our immigration system through the legal process.
Alex deserves to be seen for who he actually is, not reduced to a label.
We are fighting to bring him home, and we are not done.
