The Social Security Administration’s average wait time for an initial disability decision hit an all-time high in August of more than six months, or 198 days — almost three times higher than it was a decade ago.

Social Security's services have not been able to keep up as the agency's funding falls short of what it needs. Upcoming congressional budget action may help.

Nothing makes me happier than winning cases for my clients, but it is even sweeter to get a 27 page decision from a federal judge agreeing with my arguments and slamming the ALJ.

By the time a client makes their way to me, they have lost at least 4 times. They’ve usually been turned down by other lawyers. I take hard cases; cases that no one wants. I love giving my clients hope and then turning that hope into a win and - eventually - into real dollars.
