It is really that simple

A 401(k) is not what you’re being told

It is a fine supplementary retirement plan that has some advantages

However, it should not be your main retirement focus

It also doesn’t allow for you to retire when you’re young

If you want to actually get ahead financially and not have to wait too long, you need to learn how to buy real estate assets

They are how you get inflation and allow you to create wealth now and don’t require your money

Two quick things…

The first one is you don’t have to manage the tenant yourself. You can manage the manager and never have to deal with them if you’re afraid of collecting rent or thinking you’ll get a phone call at 2 AM to fix a leaky toilet.

The second is I meant to say 3% and not 5% rent raises every year

My expenses go up and assuming I’m charging market rent or close to it I make sure the rent goes up.

There are certain times where it’s more than 3% in certain times where it’s less but 3% is the goal

My nine-year-old daughter Maisie wanted to see my phone and said she was making me something, but I thought she was just stalling to play on it
