Another Virgo ♍️ trip around the sun. Everyone knows how much I LOVE my birthday 🙄. They got me good at the firm this year. Came in soaked from the rain storm to an empty office because “everyone was sent home because of the rain 🌧️”….only to get punked in the conference room. Seriously though, the last ten years have been filled with the most amazing highs and tremendous lows. That’s the life of a business owner though, right? If you’re going to swing, swing for the fences. I love all of you. Cheers 🥂

25 years of friendship! Two Kalymnian boys from the new world! Danny C and I met at the tender ages of 15 and 16 respectively in our ancestral home of . We immediately clicked and have remained close even when we don’t see each other for years at a time. Kinda friendship where you can just pick up from where we left off. Truly an inspirational and instrumental person in my life that encouraged me to follow through on my passion to step into the arts 🎭, stage and film. I’m thankful I did because that type of grounding and active listening really catapulted my legal career. That training made me a problem solver with the ability and confidence to walk into any room and “own” it, but with purpose and without being brash. Sometimes presence is enough. My acting days are behind me but the skills transferred into life, business and the law. Listen to those people around you, they may influence a positive decision that still impacts your life a quarter century later. ♥️

To the family and friends of founders...it’s not you, it’s them.

Founders are present in body but their minds wander off sometimes, they never truly shut off. I know this first hand, its hard to not slip back to the office in thought, always thinking about some way to improve for our team and our clients...even when everything I work so hard for is right infront of me.

Small businesses will always be the backbone of the American economy. I’ve learned through experience that building something from the ground up takes hard work, patience, and a willingness to keep moving forward when things get difficult.

That’s why I’m always encouraged when the systems and processes behind small-business operations change for the better. Progress matters, not just to the big players, but to the everyday entrepreneurs, business owners, and working people who keep New York moving.

I have a deep appreciation for those people. I’ve built my own business, I know what the work requires, and I’ll always respect the people who put it all on the line to build something of their own.
