10 year snap shot of home sales in Naperville IL. Number of sales down 33% compared to pre-covid norms and down 50% from the covid peak. Probably similar percentages everywhere as we all rise and fall together. Prices are holding and market times are still short caused by shortage of inventory. Shortage of inventory is caused by both people sitting tight on their 3% mortgages and years of lack of construction. Since neither is changing anytime soon, its a good time to buy! Better than renting. Don't pay someone elses mortgage.
