Workplace conflict can be stressful for employers and employees alike. These conflicts can feel like the end of the world, but when handled correctly, workplace disagreements can be resolved quickly through mediation.
This Workplace Conflict Awareness Month, we wanted to share a brief overview of how mediation can help settle conflicts:
🔵 For conflict between co-workers: Mediation provides an unbiased, safe space for conflict to be handled. Since mediation is focused on coming to an agreement that both parties are satisfied with, co-workers can focus on the next steps instead of pointing fingers.
🔵 For conflict between employees and employers: Mediation provides a safe forum for employees to voice their feelings without fear of retaliation. For employers, mediation demonstrates a good-faith effort at problem-solving.
