A UPS plane has crashed near Louisville Airport, resulting in the heartbreaking loss of at least nine lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families affected during this incredibly difficult time.

“Fatal accident at high seas off the coast of Progreso”
A fisherman from the Pescamex 22 boat tragically died on October 22 after suffering a severe leg injury at sea. The accident occurred around 9:00 a.m. while the crew was transferring supplies and ice from the Cancún ship. The injury caused significant bleeding, and despite a Navy rescue ship arriving at the scene, the fisherman, identified as Miguel Ángel O.P., passed away before reaching port. His body was taken to the Deep Sea Port of Progreso, where his family awaited his arrival.

“Search underway after 66-yo woman falls overboard from Royal Caribbean's Allure OTS”
A 66-year-old woman fell overboard from Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas near the Bahamas on the night of October 22nd. The ship was approximately 17 miles from Nassau when the incident occurred, prompting a search by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Royal Bahamas Defense Force. Aircraft and helicopter crews were deployed to assist in the search, which was ongoing as of Wednesday morning. The ship was hosting a Taylor Swift-themed cruise, but it is unclear if the missing woman was part of this group.
