Tu residencia permanente.

🚨 The police are going to ask you these 4 questions and most people answer them WRONG without even realizing it.

Not because they did anything wrong. But because nobody ever taught them their rights. ⚖️

Conoce tus derechos.

¿Cuántas ya sabías? 👇⚖️

🚨 “I plead the Fifth.” It’s one of the most misunderstood constitutional rights.

The Fifth Amendment protects you from being forced to incriminate yourself but simply saying “I plead the Fifth” isn’t always enough.

Knowing your rights is important. Knowing how to exercise them properly is even more important.

⚖️ If you’re under investigation or facing criminal charges, speak with an attorney before making any statements.

✨ That old charge on your record?
In Florida, it might not have to stay there forever.

In Florida, there are two legal processes that can give you a fresh start:
Expungement and Record Sealing. Expungement means your criminal record is physically destroyed. It's gone. Record Sealing means your record still exists but it becomes hidden from the public.

Most employers, landlords, and institutions will no longer be able to see it. Both options can be genuinely life changing. And most people have no idea they even qualify.

You may qualify if 👇

✅ Your charges were dropped or dismissed
✅ You completed a diversion program
✅ You were acquitted at trial
✅ You've met the waiting period required by Florida law
✅ You have no prior convictions on your record

Here's what most people get wrong they assume because they were arrested, or because they accepted a plea, that they're disqualified forever. That's not always true. The only way to know for sureis to have an experienced criminal defense attorney review your specific case.

The expungement process in Florida looks straightforward on paper. But one mistake. One missing document. One procedural error and your petition gets denied. And once it's denied, getting another chance becomes significantly harder.

At Aldahondo Law, we've guided countless clients through this process with precision. Our team handles every step, so you don't have to worry about getting it wrong.

👮‍♂️⚠️ The U.S. Supreme Court issued a ruling that makes it easier for CBP officers to subject certain lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) to greater scrutiny and, in some cases, deny them reentry into the United States if they have pending criminal charges or other criminal matters with potential immigration consequences.

🟩 If you have a Green Card and are facing criminal charges, traveling outside the United States could put your ability to reenter the country at risk.

✈️ Before traveling, consult with an attorney to understand the potential consequences your case may have on your immigration status.
