Our client was eating at a restaurant when a piece of wall paneling fell on him, causing serious injury to his neck, back, and head. Our client underwent back surgery and multiple other treatments in attempt to try to get back to health. However, he continued to have limitations due to his injuries.

The restaurant initially refused to accept responsibility for the event. Civil Trial Board Certified Attorney Carlos Jordi litigated this case for months before reaching a final resolution just a few months before trial.

Our client was a volunteer on stage during a live performance at a performing arts hall. During a stunt, the performer did not successfully perform the stunt and struck our client. As a result, our client ultimately required cervical spine surgery.

The defense disputed liability, causation, and the extent of our client's injuries. After a pre-suit offer of only $8,000, Attorney Nick Smith pushed the case through litigation and secured a $600,000 settlement before trial.
