This week, representatives from East Mississippi REALTORS® traveled to Washington, D.C., to participate in the National Association of REALTORS® Legislative Meetings and advocate for issues impacting homeownership, private property rights, and the real estate industry.

During our visit, we had the opportunity to meet with Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, Senator Roger Wicker, and staff members representing Congressman Bennie Thompson and Congressman Michael Guest. We appreciate them taking the time to discuss issues that matter to REALTORS®, property owners, and the communities we serve throughout East Mississippi.

By engaging with lawmakers and their staff, REALTORS® help ensure that the voices of local homeowners, buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals are represented where important decisions are made.

Thank you to our Mississippi REALTOR® leaders and colleagues across the state for joining together to advocate for our industry and the future of our communities.
