After practicing law in North Mississippi, Kathryn McNair opened The McNair Firm, PLLC in her hometown of Meridian, Missississippi in 2011. Focusing in the areas of criminal law, divorce, custody, and laws affecting children, The McNair Firm gained a reputation for competent, client-driven representation. McNair has handled more than a thousand felony cases, numerous divorces, child custody cases,

domestic violence protection hearings, and youth court trials. She is the Past President of the Lauderdale County Bar Association and the Lauderdale County Young Lawyers. She currently serves as an attorney-coach for the Lamar Raiders Mock Trial teams, which brought home a gavel for the first time in school history at the State Competition in 2016.
