What Is A Last Will?
A last will and testament is a legal document that outlines how a person wants their assets distributed after death, whether to family, charity, or others, and it also names an executor to manage the estate. Michael Parham explains that the document only becomes legally recognized through probate, when a judge officially admits it and authorizes the executor to carry out its terms.
