Behind this verdict is a mother and her family who faced something devastating and had the courage to see it through. A jury of twelve people heard their story and delivered justice. That is what this work is about. We are honored to have been part of their journey.

Professional growth happens when great people share knowledge, experiences, and ideas.

Our team was proud to have paralegals Marylynne Carmichael and Sage Beasley attend the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA) Paralegal Seminar, where they connected with peers from across the state and brought back valuable insights to our firm.

Marylynne shared:
“A highlight for me was how they had everyone break out into small groups. Very interesting to see how other law firms operate and gain some new perspectives!”

Sage reflected:
“As a pretty new paralegal, it was really valuable to me to get feedback and learn from them. It was comforting to learn that many things are a universal paralegal experience. I have already implemented several things I learned from the other paralegals and the speakers.”

We’re grateful for team members who are committed to learning, collaboration, and continually improving how we serve our clients. Thank you to the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association for hosting such a valuable seminar!

We had the honor of sitting down with our client and Fox 13 to share the story behind a $38,816,500 verdict — and more importantly, the family behind it. We are grateful for the coverage and proud to have represented a family that never stopped fighting for justice.

FOX13 INVESTIGATES 🔎 A jury recently awarded a Memphis mother $38 million for injuries her son suffered during birth. That mother, who asked that her name not be published, says her doctors made decisions that created lifelong complications for her son.

Not all reviews come from clients. Some come from the jury box.

Theresa shared something our whole team doesn’t often get to see—and feedback from the unique perspective of a juror means a lot! Medical Malpractice cases can be very challenging for everyone involved, and it’s a real joy to know that our commitment to putting clients first during this trial was recognized.
And the verdict?

We’re just getting started telling that story. Stay tuned!

One of those full-circle moments you don’t forget.

Thomas Greer, who served as plaintiff’s counsel in the underlying personal injury action, attended & observed oral arguments before the The Supreme Court of the United States in Keathley v. Buddy Ayers Construction, Inc.

There’s something powerful about seeing a case evolve from its earliest stages all the way to the highest court in the country. It’s a reminder that the work done day in and day out—often behind the scenes—can have a far-reaching impact well beyond a single client or outcome.

While a decision has not yet been made, being present for this moment offered a unique perspective on how complex legal issues are examined at the highest level, and how the questions posed by the justices can shape the future of the law.

It also raises an interesting thought: how often do we, as legal professionals, pause to consider the long-term ripple effects of the cases we take on?
For those in the legal field—what’s a moment in your career that reminded you of the bigger picture behind the work we do?
