Working moms know the office can look a little different some days. 💛

It is a treat to get to see little feet running down our halls. Katie, legal assistant with Virginia Josey Law, brought her sweet daughter by for a visit. She wasted no time getting to work — keyboard and all. 😂

We’re big believers that being a professional and being a mom should not feel like two separate worlds. Our firm focuses on our strengths as moms to be there for individuals and families from all walks of life. This summer, I had the privilege as President of the Young Lawyers Division to select and train the committee chairs who will lead the YLD’s work across Georgia.

More than 50 young lawyers were selected to serve as co-chairs through 2027, and I’m incredibly excited about the individuals who are working together. At our retreat at the State Bar of Georgia, we focused on legacy events to ensure consistent, meaningful programming for years to come.

There’s a lot of work ahead, but getting everyone in the same room and seeing the energy, ideas, and commitment they are bringing to their roles made me even more excited for what’s ahead.

Grateful to serve alongside this group and looking forward to a great year!
