A Florida Durable Power of Attorney can be a powerful estate planning tool, but it’s not without its drawbacks. Some key disadvantages include:

❌ You must be legally competent at the time of signing – If you become incapacitated, you can’t create or modify a POA.
❌ No court oversight – Without supervision, there’s a higher risk of abuse or mismanagement.
