Have you been to “VAN GOGH – The Immersive Experience”? This unique 3-D virtual reality exhibition is now in JAX! I was lucky to have seen – experienced – it when my mother took the whole family while it was in DC last December. I highly recommend it! My pics do not do it justice but check them out!

Where were YOU for the holidays and what was the weather like? It’s usually in the 30s and snow is rare at my mother’s home in McLean, VA. But this Christmas, we enjoyed a heatwave in the mid-60s, which broke records while I was there visiting with my family for Christmas. Just a couple of days after I left, my mother sent me these lovely photos with her Cherry Blossoms covered with snow. Record-breaking amount of snow!

Many years ago, my good friend, Phyllis, was afraid to leave her husband because he abused both her and her dog. He dragged the dog on a leash tied to his car until the dog's paws were raw and bloody. The domestic violence (DV) shelter could not take in dogs. Now, women like Phyllis can seek shelter with their pets. How exciting is THAT?!
Enjoy an outing this coming Saturday afternoon at the Orange Park Mall event brought by the DV shelter Quigley House. Have fun with dogs and help raise funds for its new pet shelter!
