Today I was fortunate to assist with supervised voting with St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections !!! I am truly blessed with what I do as an election official.
As an attorney with a focus on estate planning and elder law with Heekin Law this one hit close to home. It was such an honor to go out and help with this statutorily required process to help voters in assisted living facilities and nursing homes get the opportunity to cast a ballot in the upcoming primary election!
All 67 counties in Florida are required to facilitate supervised voting at the facility upon a timely request. Wouldn’t it be awesome to see the estate planning, elder law, and elder care communities help with this? Contact your local elections office if you’re interested in helping!
