This monumental milestone for the United States of America gives us many reasons to rejoice as well as reflect on our nation’s history. Since 1776, American culture and pride have evolved; people from all walks of life celebrate the United States as a symbol of strength in the face of tyranny and oppression. The universal and unalienable rights of “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness” unite, empower, and inspire the American people. At HVL, we see every day how access to justice helps turn these ideals into reality for individuals in our community.
