Rambo focuses his practice on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation, representing U.S., Asian, and European clients as both plaintiffs and defendants. Rambo has represented clients in matters involving a variety of high-technology-related situations, including patent infringement, electronic discovery, computer hardware and software related matters, Internet law, and trade secret

s. Rambo has litigated intellectual property, commercial, and complex tort matters extensively in federal and state courts and before arbitration panels. In addition to high-technology matters, he also has represented clients with matters pertaining to maritime law, the energy and offshore drilling industry, and contracts, personal injury, commercial torts, products liability, Defense Base Act, and Longshore and Harbor Worker's Compensation Act claims. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Rambo was a litigation partner at a full-service international law firm. Rambo is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association's Patent Committee, the International Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association, the Maritime Law Association of the United States, and the Houston Maritime Arbitrators Association. Rambo received his J.D., magna cm laude, from Tulane University Law School in 1994. While in law school, he won the National Craven Moot Court Competition (at which he also won the award for best brief), was notes and comments editor for the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, and was named to the Order of the Coif. Rambo received his M.B.A., summa cm laude, from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business in 1994. Prior to obtaining his M.B.A., he was president of (and later a consultant to) a software business that he created and incorporated to develop and market real-time 3-D graphics-oriented navigational systems for ships. During this time, he also taught several software programming language courses and worked as a software engineer, coding large-scale engineering, accounting, and medical software projects. Rambo received his B.S. in computer science from the University of New Orleans. While attending the University of New Orleans, he won several software programming contests and was elected to be the local chapter president of the Association for Computing Machinery. Rambo is admitted to practice in Texas, the District of Columbia, and Colorado and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Federal Circuits; and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas.
