Leonard J. Wiener secured a $1.6 million settlement in a traumatic brain injury matter, achieved during a damages-only trial after the plaintiffs’ case was presented to the jury.

Earlier, the Court granted summary judgment on liability, finding the defendants at fault. The matter then proceeded to a damages-only trial and resolved after testimony from the two plaintiffs, the plaintiff’s treating neurologist, and expert witnesses in orthopedics and neuropsychology.

The pre-trial offer was $750,000. The case settled for $1,600,000.

Every case is personal. Michael D. Napolitano and Leonard J. Wiener bring thorough preparation and straightforward communication to support clients throughout the process – from initial consultation through resolution.
