After 20 months in ICE detention, this moment means everything.

Our client never gave up hope—and neither did we.

We fought for his freedom in Immigration Court and won his asylum case. Even after that victory, DHS attempted to appeal the decision. But we didn’t back down. We continued the fight, and ultimately, DHS withdrew their appeal.

Today, our client is finally FREE.

This case is a reminder that persistence, preparation, and unwavering advocacy can change lives.

A very special recognition goes to my incredible associate attorney, Ashkhen Oganesyan, who handled this case from start to finish with dedication, strength, and heart. She never gave up—and because of that, justice prevailed.

بعد ٢٠ شهر في احتجاز الهجرة، اللحظة دي معناها كل حاجة.

موكلنا ما استسلمش أبدًا… وإحنا كمان ما استسلمناش.

حاربنا عشانه في محكمة الهجرة وكسبنا قضيته في اللجوء. ورغم كده، الحكومة حاولت تستأنف القرار. لكن إحنا كملنا للنهاية، وما رجعناش خطوة لورا… وفي الآخر، الحكومة سحبت الاستئناف.
