Senior Regional Property Manager Shannon Collins first started working at Willow Bridge as a Leasing Professional. Fast-forward 24 years, and she now works as a Senior Regional Property Manager overseeing a portfolio of properties across Austin, Texas.
Shannon first began her career in banking. However, when the opportunity arose to work part-time as a Leasing Professional, she took a chance because the role provided the flexibility she needed as a mother. Little did she know she would quickly discover a passion for the multifamily industry and decide to pursue it as her career. “I progressed from Leasing Professional to Assistant Manager, then Community Manager, Regional Manager, and ultimately Senior Regional Property Manager—a position I have proudly held for the past 10 years. Looking back, what started as a flexible opportunity became a rewarding and fulfilling career that has allowed me to grow both professionally and personally.”
For Shannon, nurturing relationships and making a positive impact on people's lives is at the center of everything she does. “Above all, this career has given me a tremendous sense of fulfillment. From helping individuals and families find a place to call home to mentoring and supporting colleagues as they advance in their own careers, the relationships I have built throughout the years have been the most rewarding part of my journey. It is incredibly meaningful to know that I have been able to make a positive impact on our residents, clients, and the people I have had the privilege to work alongside.”
