A few years ago, some clients of ours decided it was time for a change.

They had raised their children in a beautiful family home, but it was time for something different..

They wanted a walkable lifestyle near Downtown Alpharetta.

Several years earlier, they had purchased a small ranch home on a great lot in the Garden District. The dream was always to build their next home there someday.

So the plan came together.

They sold the big house…
bought a townhome near downtown…
and moved in while they built their new home.

Right away they began enjoying everything they had imagined — walking to dinner, coffee, and the farmers market.

When their new home was finished, they stepped into the chapter they had been dreaming of in Downtown Alpharetta!

That townhome? They kept it as a long-term investment.

Recently we ran a From Hold to Launch review for our Clients so they could review their Investment.

Purchase price: $575,000
Estimated value today: $865K–$885K

That’s roughly $300K in equity built in just 5 years.

The interesting part?

They weren’t trying to time the market.

They were simply designing the next phase of their life.

Today Mark turns 65.

So in honor of his birthday, I thought I’d share a few things that are honestly starting to get a little annoying…😉

1. He’s the first one up every morning and brings me coffee in bed!
2. He’s in the best shape of his life… at 65. Meanwhile the rest of us are just trying to stretch without injury.
3. Somehow he looks younger than most people his age. Rude.
4. He makes a friend everywhere we go. A quick trip to the grocery store takes 45 minutes.
5. After decades in real estate, he’s still dreaming up new businesses. Apparently retirement is not in the vocabulary.
6. He always says yes to my crazy ideas… which explains a lot of our adventures.
7. He LOVES to cook — and he’s really good at it. I’m not mad about this one.😃
8. His family means everything to him. Always has.
9. He watches chick flicks with me without complaining. (This must be true love.)
10. And yes… he can sing like nobody’s business.

And the thing that’s honestly the most annoying of all…

He’s turning 65 and somehow he’s just getting started.
