ABOTA Miami was specifically mentioned and thanked by several speakers during the historic Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Soto Miami-Dade Justice Center on Monday, November 10. Judges Soto, Bailey, Safie and Fajardo-Orshan all praised the members of our chapter for their tireless efforts over the past 11 years in helping bring the need for a modern civil courthouse into a reality for our community.

A special thanks to the dozens of our members who attended the ceremony and to Secretary Sean Cleary, for his efforts in organizing the turnout. The building itself is impressive and will foster ABOTA’s mission of preserving the civil jury trial.
