At Dohan Law, exceptional service and trusted guidance are never the work of just one person, it takes an extraordinary team. I’m incredibly proud of the people who show up every day for our clients when they need us most.
This month also marks 32 years since I became a lawyer and 26 years leading my own firm.
My career began with a summer clerkship at an insurance defense firm, where I learned from my first mentors, Richard Cole and Gene Kissane. A few years later, I moved to the plaintiff’s side, where Luis Stabinski became another invaluable mentor. Their guidance shaped not only my career, but how I approach every case.
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of becoming Florida Bar Board Certified in Civil Trial Law, an achievement held by fewer than 1% of Florida attorneys—and joining ABOTA, an invitation-only organization committed to preserving the civil justice system. I’ve helped secure an eight-figure jury verdict and multiple seven-figure verdicts, and have also successfully handled appeals.
But credentials and results are only part of the story. At Dohan Law, we believe strong advocacy does not require hostility. We work hard, prepare thoroughly, and treat everyone—including opposing counsel, with respect.
When I’m not working, you may find me at a tournament poker table, a hobby I’ve enjoyed for more than 15 years. Otherwise, I’m grateful every day for the clients, colleagues, mentors, and lessons that have made this journey possible.
