May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, and as the month closes, the message is worth repeating. NHTSA data continues to show that most fatal motorcycle crashes involve a vehicle driver who failed to see the rider. If you drive a car, truck, or SUV: check your blind spots before every lane change, give motorcycles a full lane, and slow down at intersections. If you ride: wear a helmet, use high-visibility gear, and assume no one can see you until they prove otherwise.
