Contract law for family business:

Indemnity = “I’m going to pay for whatever comes up because of this f—up.”

Limitation of Liability = "If I f—up, you agree that you only get $x."

Waiver = "If I f—up, you agree that you can't bring these claims or damages."

Dispute resolution (mediation) = “If I f—up, you agree to talk it out before this gets crazy.”

Dispute resolution (arbitration) = “If I f—up, you agree this gets crazy, but in private.”

If you have a US personal PayPal account, don't give away your data. The controls are in the desktop settings.

PayPal is updating their ToS to let themselves give your data to merchants starting Nov & they're banking on people not knowing to opt out, SO to opt out before they start: go to Settings >Data & Privacy > Manage shared info >Personalized shopping, & toggle that default YES to a resounding NO.
