Employee leave can be especially challenging for small businesses when multiple laws may apply. Attorney Meredith Lasna recently tackled that issue as part of a panel on employee leaves during a day-long CLE featuring an outstanding group of New Hampshire employment lawyers.

The speakers and panelists shared practical guidance, common pitfalls, and valuable real-world perspectives. It was a great day of learning and connecting with colleagues.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Open House!

Despite another rainy September evening, we were thrilled to welcome more than 70 clients, colleagues, referral partners, friends, and community members to celebrate with us.

This year's event was especially meaningful as we marked our 10th year in business. Looking around the room, we were reminded how fortunate we are to be surrounded by such a supportive and connected community.

A special thank you to The White Apron for the delicious food, Mike Dunbar for the wonderful live music, and Zorvino Vineyards and Concord Craft Brewery for helping us raise a glass to this milestone year.

We are grateful for the relationships we've built over the past decade and look forward to many more years of serving our clients and community.

Attorney Meredith Lasna, Chair of the NHBA Gender Equality Committee, was featured in the July edition of New Hampshire Bar News discussing the New Hampshire Judicial Branch's new lactation accommodation procedures for legal professionals.

The new centralized process helps attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants request lactation breaks and private space before court appearances, creating a more consistent and accessible experience for nursing parents.
