Today Attorney Richard Lehmann of Lehmann Major List, PLLC, appeared on behalf of former President Donald Trump in the Federal District Court for the District of New Hampshire to defend his right to stand for election in the First In The Nation Primary, and for the right of New Hampshire Republicans and independents to vote for the candidate of their choice.

After a 3-hour hearing, the Judge ruled in Sean’s favor from the bench, denying the government’s motion for summary judgment.

Yesterday, Attorney Sean List argued before the NH Supreme Court on behalf of Chester Arms, LLC. In a lawsuit supported by the national anti-gun group Brady United, Chester Arms was unjustly sued for legally selling a firearm that was used in the shooting of two police officers weeks later. After Sean obtained a dismissal in Superior Court, the Plaintiffs appealed. Sean argued in favor of the constitutionality of RSA 508:21, which provides immunity to law-abiding fi****ms dealers, making the point that upstanding dealers supply an essential tool for the exercise of the 2nd Amendment and should not be deemed liable for the disconnected criminal actions of third parties.

Two Manchester police officers who were shot in the line of duty in 2016 asked the New Hampshire Supreme Court on Tuesday to reinstate their lawsuit against the Department of Safety and the gun shop that sold the firearm to the man who shot them.

Congrats to Attorney Jason Major of Lehmann Major List, PLLC and his co-counsel, John Ward of Ward Law Group winning an $850,000 verdict against Dartmouth College in Federal Court! Attorneys Major and Ward represented a talented young athlete who was negligently injured in a Dartmouth Field Hockey Team weight-lifting accident in 2017. Congratulations to Attorney Sean List for his victory today on behalf of Chester Arms, LLC. Chester Arms legally sold a firearm that was used several weeks later by a criminal assailant in the shooting of two police officers. Chester Arms followed all legal requirements and had no warning that the firearm would later be used in a crime. The officers thankfully recovered and both returned to duty protecting the City of Manchester. Chester Arms was subsequently targeted in a civil lawsuit supported by the antigun political group, Brady United. Sean fought tooth and nail to demonstrate that because Chester Arms strictly complied with state and federal law, the business was entitled to immunity for the criminal actions of a third-party. The Court agreed with Sean, finding that immunity was both applicable and constitutional. This victory is the culmination of years of hard-fought litigation, which included Sean deposing the former Director of ATF's Firearm Division for more than 8 hours.

Congrats to Attorney Sean List for securing a settlement of $360,000.00 for his client in the federal case of Shaun Thompson v. Paul While Tile, Co. Inc. The Plaintiff was a division manager who was stiffed a large amount of commission and then wrongfully terminated. After the Defendant filed meritless counterclaims, Attorney List withdrew the Plaintiff's initial settlement offer of $170,000.00, and litigated the case for more than a year and a half. After Attorney List discovered a forged document and fabricated evidence, he retained a forensic document examiner and blew the lid off of the entire case. Not only did Attorney List secure the dismissal of the counterclaims, he ultimately secured a settlement of more than double his client's initial offer. The case was settled without confidentiality.
