Our team was well represented at this year’s NH Campaign for Legal Services Kickoff Breakfast on May 12th!

Upton & Hatfield, LLP is proud to stand alongside our New Hampshire legal community in celebrating more than twenty-five years of support for equal access to justice, and we are grateful to everyone who works tirelessly to make it a reality.

The Campaign brings together leaders and advocates who believe that justice must be accessible to all, and this partnership helps close the growing justice gap for the twelve thousand Granite Staters who seek legal aid each year.

Upton & Hatfield is proud to share a personal reflection from our Managing Partner Todd Fahey on his recent election to the Board of Trustees of the New Hampshire Historical Society.

"I'm so very honored to have been voted onto the Board of Trustees of the New Hampshire Historical Society and to work with this iconic Granite State institution.

As an undergraduate student, I recall unusually leaving my usual midweek studies to attend a lecture by a notable Georgetown University historian. He said, "One never really knows anything unless one knows its history." I never forgot that.

History provides context and context is critical to being able to understand and deftly navigate the challenges and opportunities of our times, businesses, economy, world, nation and state. New Hampshire's history, thoughtfully considered, provides a noiseless clarity and a lens to achieve understanding that goes well beyond our borders. I'm simply thrilled to serve and to learn."

Please join us in celebrating Todd’s commitment to preserving the rich heritage of the Granite State.

Attorneys Todd Fahey and Margaret Demos recently sat down with Laconia Daily Sun to chat about why we’re so excited about the merger between Martin, Lord & Osman and Upton & Hatfield, LLP

As we’ve shared, we have brought together two NH firms, each with over a century of history, to provide even better representation for our clients across our communities. But the real highlight? As Todd Fahey put it, both firms have always had their own unique "secret sauce" for success—and now that we've merged, there's twice as much to go around!

We are thrilled to bring this enhanced support and legal services to the Granite State. Read the full story here: The Laconia Daily Sun

🏀 It’s one of our favorite times of the year - March Madness at Upton & Hatfield!

Every year, our team comes together for our firm-wide bracket challenge - a tradition we look forward to just as much as the games themselves. It’s a fun way to connect, spark a little friendly competition, and enjoy time together outside of the day-to-day.

Moments like these are a small (but meaningful) part of what makes our culture so special - and why we truly enjoy working together.

We’d love to hear from you…

This weekend, Upton & Hatfield attorneys Heather Burns, Anna Hagg, Maddie Matulis, Lauren Irwin, and Katie Cox Pelletier joined colleagues from across the state for the New Hampshire Women's Bar Association's 2026 Annual Retreat. Guided by the theme “Reclaiming Time, Renewing Focus,” our team spent time at the historical Wentworth by the Sea Hotel & Spa recharging and engaging in vital conversations about leadership and professional well-being.

Upton & Hatfield was honored to sponsor dinner for this impactful event. We are consistently inspired by the NHWBA’s dedication to fostering a supportive, powerhouse community for women in the legal profession. We’re returning to the office with a renewed sense of purpose and are already looking forward to next year!
