Traveling on Advanced Parole Just Got Riskier.
A new BIA decision changed the rules for people traveling on Advance Parole. A trip outside the U.S. can now potentially trigger the 3-year or 10-year unlawful-presence bar if you have enough prior unlawful presence.
⚠️ Having Advance Parole does NOT automatically make travel safe.
Before you leave the U.S., have your immigration history reviewed by an attorney.

A federal judge has struck down the policy that paused immigrant visa processing for nationals of 75 countries.
What happens next? The government must respond to the ruling, and affected cases may be able to move forward—but implementation could take time, and the government may appeal.

Receiving a Notice to Appear (NTA) can be frightening—but it does not automatically mean that there is no way to remain in the United States.
Depending on your circumstances, you may have defenses or forms of immigration relief available to you, including adjustment of status, cancellation of removal, asylum, VAWA, or other options.
The most important thing is not to ignore the NTA or miss your hearing. What happens next can depend on your immigration history, the reason you were placed in proceedings, and the relief for which you may qualify.
