This really happened.
An insurance company paid a medical doctor — their “expert” — to give an opinion in my client’s case. What they paid him would equal about four months of the average American’s salary.
That same doctor couldn’t tell me how my client’s surgery was supposed to be performed.
So why pay him? Because the report was never about medicine. It’s defense strategy — a paid opinion that lets them argue the injuries aren’t related to the crash.
They’d rather pay the expert than pay the claim.
Does that seem fair to you? Tell me in the comments — and send this to someone who still thinks their insurance company has their back.
